We booked a last minute spa on a Sunday as a treat and it did not disappoint! The private spa was absolutely incredible. The whole setting was beautiful & so relaxing. Unfortunately we had to leave a little before our full hour was up but we had such a great experience & will definitely be back! Thank you so much.

I honestly had the most amazing experience at Ashby’s Spa in Southsea with my partner! We booked the full spa and hot tub experience, and we absolutely loved every minute of it. The place is beautiful, relaxing and so well presented, making it the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time together.

One of the things I appreciated the most was the complete privacy. As someone who wears hijab, I asked for a female host and Mubi was so helpful with this, being able to enjoy the spa without having to worry about privacy made the experience even more special and comfortable. It was such a lovely feeling to fully relax and enjoy our time together.

We were shown around by Mubi, who was so so nice and also got a chance to speak to Steve, and had a lovely chat. They were absolutely lovely, so welcoming, friendly and genuinely nice to talk to. They showed us around the beautiful building, explained how everything worked and provided us with lovely, clean towels and robes. They made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. There were also multiple drink options available, and we were kindly provided with complimentary juice, which was a lovely extra touch.

We originally booked for an hour, but our host kindly allowed us to stay for an additional 30 minutes. We ended up going slightly over that time, and they were so understanding and accommodating, with absolutely no complaints. Their kindness and hospitality really made a difference to our experience.

The whole building is beautiful, and after seeing the hotel as well, I would genuinely consider booking a room and staying overnight next time to enjoy even more of what they have to offer.

Overall, we had such a wonderful experience and left feeling so happy. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend Ashby’s Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing, private and enjoyable spa experience, whether with a partner or for some well-deserved self-care. Perfect First Visit!

We visited Ashbys for the first time and were absolutely blown away! The building itself is full of character and so enchanting, with beautiful, picturesque scenery all around. Everywhere was spotless – the facilities are excellent, impeccably clean and so well maintained.

Our host was truly lovely and extremely welcoming from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and made us feel completely at ease.

We will definitely be returning – already looking forward to our next trip!

Ashby is an angel. I chose the wrong service. I got there and explained what I wanted to her. Can you believe that she offered me the one I chose and the one I really needed without an extra charge. She was hospitable and an extraordinary host. I plan on making another booking. I highly recommend Ashby Soa.

Went above and beyond for my girlfriend’s birthday, left a lovely birthday sign with treats. The spa was amazing, staff very friendly and welcoming and it was all clean and nice and private. Would highly recommend and will definitely be booking again.

Booked the hot tub and quite enjoyed the experience. It's great that you get a private relaxation space all to yourself. There's shower, bathrobe and towels are provided, as well as water and ice. I went on a very hot day, the hot tub is at 40 degrees, so it's better to go when it's a bit cooler, but I enjoyed chilling on the large sunbed too. The owner is really nice and welcoming.
